VegSA Regular Events

 VegSA’s Northern Star Group third Thursday each month at 12.30pm. Simply Vegan ’n’ Veg 1 Montague Farm Shopping Centre, 2 Montague Road Pooraka has an extensive north and south Indian and Indo-Chinese vegetarian/vegan menu with all vegan items listed separately.  Bookings appreciated on the Monday before. VegSA’s Southern Social Group get-together Second Saturday each month at 12.30pm at Great Nature 3/48 Beach Rd Christies Beach, which also has an extensive stock of vegan supplies. No need to book, but check in case of changes with Su: ph. 0468 397 219 or vegsu2003@yahoo.com.au.  This quarter: Saturday December 13th, January 10th, February 14th. Great Nature will probably be closed for part of January and February. Check with Su or see Great Nature’s Facebook.

VegSA mail-out workshop. Usually quarterly at Conservation Council SA’s complex, The Exchange 55 Exchange Place Adelaide near last Sunday in February May, August and November. Meet fellow members and share ideas. Help is always appreciated. Next mail-out is planned for Sunday March 1st 2026. 10.30am-12noon followed at 1pm by VegSA Committee Meeting. Sunday February 15th 2026 VegSA Annual General Meeting
The Exchange 55 Exchange Place Adelaide.
11am Speaker – Dr. Heleen Haitjema – Update from Doctors For Nutrition.
12pm Lunch. Bring VEGAN food or drinks to share.
1pm AGM.
If unable to attend members can appoint a proxy to vote for them. (See enclosed AGM notice for more details).
As there is important business a good turn up will be appreciated!

Sunday December 21st 2pm Screening of ‘Avatar – Fire & Ash’ Animal Liberation SA will host a screening of ‘Avatar – Fire & Ash’ which has animal rights and environmental themes.
At Capri Cinema 141 Goodwood Road Goodwood. Tickets $20 adult, $15 child. Pay at the door, cash or card.
